On Friday, February 8th, DRLC filed a due process complaint and request for due process hearing against the Ontario Montclair School District alleging that the district failed to identify the Petitioner as a student with disabilities pursuant to California Education Code section 56300 and 56301, as well as the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). The complaint also alleges that the District filed to provide Petitioner with a Free and Appropriate Public Education (FAPE) and requests that the District provide Petitioner with prospective and compensatory educational therapy, prospective and compensatory speech and language services, psychological services, and attorney's fees.
